Summer Internship Program (January to May application)

Application process

1 SIGN UP ONLINE FOR APPLICATION

You must register online to signify your interest to learn more about the AIESEC Experience and attend our orientation seminar. Attending the orientation is free!

 

2 ORIENTATION SEMINAR

The orientation will let you get to know the organization and exchange program. You will be acquainted with AIESEC’s vision and operations as well as how the Exchange and Membership Experience will run for applicants.

 

3 APPLICATION

Immediately after the orientation, should you be determined to pursue the application process, you will officially sign-up for the program. You will also be slecting your schedule for assessment sessions.

 

4 ASSESSMENT CENTER

AIESEC makes it a point to deliver quality interns to our partner companies abroad. We have a set global standard of competencies and qualities that we look for in our Exchange Applicants. The assessment center is the first stage of screening. Simple group activities will be conducted during these Assessment Centers in order to test if these traits are reflected in the applicants.

 

5 REVIEW BOARD INTERVIEW

The Review Board Interview is the second and final round of screening for Exchange Applicants. This is our version of a job interview. AIESECers will be asking the applicants questions based on the Global Competencies that we require our members to possess.

 

6 INDUCTION

In order to perform well as AIESECers and Exchange participants, a proper induction into the organization will arranged. Included in this induction is a personal goal setting session for the new AIESEC members and a review of the organizations vision and operations.

 

7 AIESEC EXPERIENCE

Becoming an Exchange Participant (EP) makes you an official AIESEC member. The AIESEC Experience is composed of leadership experiences in the organization, as well as an Exchange Experience abroad. Applicants can choose to go on an internship either before, after, or during the time that they choose to help contribute to the organization in the local setting.
